Gauge Your Success
Hi everyone. Welcome to another episode of Smooth Sailing Online Support TV. I am your host and captain, Lyndsay Phillips, and today I want to talk to you about success and how you deem success.
What do you consider success? Is it revenue, is it your time and your freedom? I know for me, it was about growing my team and bringing more people onboard so that I can bring on more clients. Yes, of course revenue played a part. Another part for me personally was being able to work from home, being home when the kids get off the bus, and if they’re sick I can be home, even taking time off. I’ve taken long weekends. During the summer, I go camping with my family and being completely unplugged, because as you know, being an entrepreneur, you can be glued to your phone or your computer and at the mercy of it all.
Yesterday afternoon actually, I took the afternoon off with my husband and we went to roam around. We went out for dinner, so that was awesome. It’s all about your freedom, too, right? Think about where you’re at and where you’ve come from in the past year. Have you made any steps towards what your goals are? Have you brought more people onboard? Have you outsourced a number of jobs? Have there been projects that have been sitting on standby for six months and you haven’t moved forward?
I’ve actually created a business success meter, if you will, a really quick and easy quiz that you can take just to stop and take stock of where you’re at, where you want to be, and maybe what elements you need to work on to really achieve the level of success that you want and have set for yourself so that you can reach your goals and have what you want out of life. You can go to LyndsayPhillips.com or SSOnlineSupport.com, which is my service web site. You’ll see the pop up there so you can check out the quiz and take it. Happy to get some feedback.
So that’s it for this beautiful day and this episode of Smooth Sailing Online Support TV. Until next week, have a productive and profitable week, and may the winds always be at your back.
