Call To Action
In case you missed Week 3 of my Flash Briefings for Smooth Business Growth Flash Update… here are last week’s episodes!
Another Great Way To Re-Use Your Blogs
In a previous episode, I talked about one way to re-use your blogs, and I have yet another tip you may not have considered to re-use that ever green content.
I’m your host Lyndsay Phillips and this is your Smooth Business Growth Flash Update.
Most people email their blog post in addition to posting it to social media platforms. Why not add some graphics to the email, too? Try putting a portion of your blog in the email with a link to read more on your website. This drives traffic to your website, which is always a great idea. Extra tip: be sure to promote your social media platforms on those emails.
Mobile Marketing Marketing Tip
Mobile marketing is an integral part of today’s marketing plan, and it’s only going to get better. So how can you optimize your mobile visibility?
I’m your host Lyndsay Phillips and this is your Smooth Business Growth Flash Update.
If you consider connection speeds, around 40% of the top consumer advertisers have already optimized their advertising for mobile devices. They also know that connection speeds are slower on mobile devices so those pages that don’t fit properly or are heavy in bandwidth use will run very slowly and will cause most viewers to hit the ‘back button.’ Keep the connection speeds in mind when you are designing your pages. Optimized pages will get the views and that’s key.
Invest In Your Mobile Landing Page
Have you heard the term mobile landing page? Do you know why you need one?
I’m your host Lyndsay Phillips and this is your Smooth Business Growth Flash Update.
A key marketing tactic is to ensure you have a good mobile landing page. There are even situations where a mobile page is more important than building multiple channels, which can cause you to spread yourself too thin. Consider the number of people using their smart phones today to search out local business information, then using that information to call the business or get themselves to that business via a map or GPS system it is certainly worth your effort to invest in a mobile landing page.
How To Use A Call To Action
Do you use a Call To Action button on your website? Consider how to use it in your Marketing process effectively, to boost sales.
I’m your host Lyndsay Phillips and this is your Smooth Business Growth Flash Update.
A call to action is a button, pop up or graphic that prompts the viewer to take action, to become more engaged and work their way through the marketing funnel. For example offer a strategy call, a webinar or checklist. It’s an effective tool to grow your e-mail list, so they can learn more about you, your services and so you can grow your leads and of course increase sales conversions. It’s also a great way to measure what kind of traffic you are getting on your site.
Jazz Up Your Call To Action
Are you being predictable with your CALL TO ACTION placement?
I’m your host Lyndsay Phillips and this is your Smooth Business Growth Flash Update.
A Call To Action on your website doesn’t have to be predictable, like a pop-up window interrupting your viewer, or only at the end of your blog. You can really get more creative with it by using a jazzy graphic, or having it slide into the viewing screen from the side. Or have a scrolling banner that moves with them as they scroll through your page. Placing it somewhere different each time is also an option and doesn’t make you so predictable. Test it, change it, and find something that works for your audience.
